Permission Post [for Cape and Cowl]

If your character ever speaks face to face with Haibara Ai, she could detect whether they're trustworthy, susupicious, or dangerous by their scent... or even if they're aligned with someone else, based on similarity of the scent she catches from them.

If you'd rather not have her know what your character's really like, feel free to tell me so here, so he power will be on the fritz whenever they meet!

If you'd like her power to work on your character, also tell me!

And don't worry, she won't get any really specific details through this power, like... I don't know, where your character grew up, their favourite colour, or what they do for a living (unless they smell like gunpowder or clay or something else that most people can normally detect).

Zoe's Lot Part 1:

SANDMAN - He's kinda a supervillain! He robs stuff, mostly, and tries to beat up any superheroes in his way. So he's definitely a shifty sort of character.

The only other thing of note is that he likes kids! And he definitely won't want to harm them, so your character is safe. (She's seven, right?) You can play with that if you want.

Part 2:

CALENDAR MAN - He's also kinda a supervillain! He's also a lot more dangerous. He's not a murderer, but he is a rather screwed up individual. He's especially violent on holidays, which is also when his powers work. So if you meet him on some other day, he'll be slightly less dangerous than on a holiday. You can decide how much of a ping he gives off.

Part the third:

MONSTER IN THE DARKNESS - is kinda dangerous but not really at all. Despite claiming to be a monster (he's not one in the city, but he's literally a monster back home), possibly mentioning being on Team Evil, he's actually a really nice person! And also is polite. If he's ever dangerous, he's either having some sort of temper tantrum, or being manipulated by someone else.

In that case, this one might trip her up a bit. Maybe it'll be one of those that give her a bad-feeling-that-comes-and-goes.

She's really eighteen, but presently looks seven and will claim to be just that. ^^

This'll definitely be fun to play with. x3

She'll try and help thwart him and if he ever spots her, feign innocence and give him a face like this.

Homura often acts suspicious and she has her own agenda, but she's true to her word, and she is a Magical Girl who basically has to be good and save people and whatnot.

She's just very kuudere.

Alright, thanks for sharing!

I-I don't know if I would say 'trustworthy'. He's a very practiced liar. Mostly just to get things that he wants, but.

Also he certainly isn't evil but he has a tendency to walk the grey line because the Solution is always more important to him than how he finds it, exactly. :/

He's completely obsessed with solving crimes, so idk if she wants to get a 'yeeeah this guy is creepy but he's not really setting my radar off bad-wise' or something? up to you! >>

Haibara prefers to er on the side of caution, but yes, it might set her off just a bit, but not all of the time.

She'll proceed with caution, until she figures out whether or not she can really trust him. ^_^

trust watson instead.

Baroona's a fairly trustworthy guy despite being like... a chronic liar. I don't know if she'd be able to see that but she'd probably be able to tell that he mostly means well. In terms of danger, he will probably have a lingering scent of it as he tends to keep fighting on a need-to-do basis, if that makes any sense. If not, I apologize, I just woke up.

Oh, this'll be interesting.

No, no, that made perfect sense! Don't worry. ♥

Oh jeez okay this is not easy for me sob

Permission for all is granted!

Ghost is, despite being honest and principled, not trustworthy, suspicious and dangerous. He is also genuinely trying to be helpful most of the time, just his overarching principles and ideas are... anarchistic at best. He would most likely not hurt kids, though, so I doubt he'd be dangerous to her. Specific permission for who he's (currently) aligned with will have to be obtained from the muns whom this impacts, since he does a lot of under the table dealing.

Orin is a good man with a temper problem but it's not like he'd ever hurt kids either, so. He's allied with Namor at the moment.

Scarecrow is super untrustworthy, dangerous and pretty much as evil as the day is long. He makes few alliances in general, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks, that was very helpful! x3

Scarecrow is awesome.

hello, I am here with some tl;dr for you!

I will reply for this one, and my two other characters while I'm at it. :) (I promise they are not scary jerks like this one.)

The Brucolac here is extremely dangerous...but also trustworthy. It's an odd mix that doesn't seem like it should work, but it is absolutely true: what he is, the vampire part, is legit terrifying, but who he is, the person inside, is actually a pretty nice guy. He doesn't smell quite like any of the other vampires, but she might get that "type" off of him. He smells very dry, a little salty, but...vaguely reptilian.

Tavros, peanutblooder is totally not dangerous at all, and very trustworthy! He's a big sweetheart, and a big dork! He is of a type with all the other trolls, and is especially close in "type" with Aradia, and friendship with Gamzee first and then Kanaya, Terezi and Nepeta. He's also "aligned" with theh Homestuck kids: John Eggbert (strongly, above the other humans, since they share a hero class), Jade Harley (friends), Dave Strider, and lastly Rose Lalonde. He likes hanging out with animals, so she might smell that on him.

Sirius Black, purmoncul is a little dangerous, rather mischievous, but very trustworthy. Especially to kids, so she'll definitely get that off of him. He's of a type with magic users, and really highly aligned with James Potter and Remus Lupin. He's related by blood to Narcissa and Draco Malfoy, Bellatrix and Andromeda, and shares an emotional family bond with Ruka. He smells like engine oil and food most of the time, and whiskey some of the time, if those times are stressful.

I'm glad, and hope it helps! :D
- That's it exactly - he's an anti-villain, basically!

- He is made of woobie, enthusiasm, and being a derp. :D

- LOL yes of course he smells like dog, I should have mentioned! Feel free to toss Haibara at him, and any of my chars. :)

Then, she might get an uneasy feeling from her, but nothing too horrible. x3;

After all, Haibara herself has to lie quite a bit to pass for a child, doesn't she?

Thanks for the answer! ^^

Goku: With the diadem on he's completely trust worthy. He's not a duplicitous person. What you see if what you get. However, without the diadem he's definitely a threat. Not in a malicious way, just in a way that he's stronger than her and tearing her to shreds might be fun.

I'm not sure how she will be able to sense that. The threat is there but it's being suppressed.

Kaiba: It's not that he's dangerous, he's just very closed off. He's post series so he's calmed down from most of his evil tendencies. He's an asshole on the outside and a person on the inside so not sure how the power will work with that.
Nov. 13th, 2011 06:04 pm (UTC)
Ah, for that, bad feelings that will come and go, I suppose!

Kaiba might not trigger much, then. She just might not like him very much. xD;

Thanks for answering.
